Why? From the Host & Creator
I know what it's like to be the only Black woman in the room.
For years, I worked in corporate America where I experienced the daily reality of microaggressions, being passed over for promotions, and having my professional worth constantly questioned. I dealt with the physical stress—literally getting chest pains from workplace anxiety—and the mental toll of always having to prove myself twice as hard for half the recognition.
I was that person trying to figure out: Am I crazy? Is this really happening? What more can I do?
The breaking point came when I realized I was spending more energy trying to prove my worth to people who would never see it than I was building something meaningful.
After 11 years in advertising and corporate environments, I walked away to build my own path. But I never forgot what it felt like to feel isolated, unsupported, and like no one else understood what I was going through.
Coffee No Cream exists because I refuse to let another Black woman feel alone in these experiences.
Every conversation on this podcast comes from a place of deep understanding—not theory, but lived reality. I've been where you are. I've felt what you're feeling. And I've learned that our stories, when shared honestly, become the roadmap for others to navigate their own journey.
This isn't just a podcast—it's proof that you're not crazy, you're not alone, and your experiences matter.
